如果新的技能系统采用“技能的威力随着使用次数增多而增加”——这会让人很不爽!

你之所以会这样说,我猜是因为有人在twitter上提过这样的建议,我说——那只是个猜测。
我觉得这样说没错——我们不会使用那样的技能系统。
一些游戏使用了那样的系统,但我们不会使用。我们终结了很多项目,我们是超前的,我们为很多做法开创了先河。(所以不会采用那种原始的东西)

If you really do have to use a skill for it to get better, all that it will create is more unnecessary grinding. In the Diablo universe, grinding consists of going through dungeons, killing monsters and bosses, and doing the occasional quest to level up for those new or improved skills. This is hard enough to max out skills and stats, because reaching the level cap is no easy task.
If they do really change the skill system that way, it will be Diablo 3: Grindfest. Who really wants to keep using the SAME skills over and over until they are good? Not to mention: what if you get bored of using your "good skills?" Guess what:?? It's time to GRIND baby, GRIND. Time to spend more pointless hours into buffing the new skill you want to use. Don't forget you still have to grind to gain levels. Might as well make it a massive multiplayer game.
Imagine it in the Diablo II universe. Imagine if you're a fire or cold sorc. You come to a boss or a monster immune to your skill set. What do you do? Maybe whip out static field for that offhand occasion to compensate. Now juxtapose that to the DIII universe. Too bad, you barely used that, you're screwed.
Now like I said, they obviously haven't announced anything and a lot of what I say is purely speculation. But hopefully they will get off the magic mushrooms or whatever hallucinogenic that they are on and quit trying crazy experiments. Hopefully they will not make too many grinds in Diablo III besides leveling up - that's enough to deal with. How about this experiment: come up with a "Fun game" formula. I can tell you now that less grinding results in more fun. So please, keep the repetitious stuff to a minimum.

I'm guessing you're saying this because I quoted one guy on twitter proposing this type of skill system and I said that it was a popular guess.
Well, I think I can pretty safely say that we would never use that type of skill system.
It works for some games, it just wouldn't work for us. We're dropping too many items, we're moving too fast, and we're opening up too many avenues for customization and re-customization.
